Fox Nation Host Files Sexual Harassment Suit

Newser — Rob Quinn

Roger Ailes is gone, but the sexual harassment allegations at Fox News live on. Fox Nation host Britt McHenry filed a lawsuit against the network and former co-host George "Tyrus" Murdoch on Tuesday, saying Murdoch harassed her and Fox failed to deal with her complaints, the New York Times reports.

The lawsuit alleges that Murdoch's behavior and work was "volatile and unpredictable" and he started sending her suggestive text messages last year, reports CNN. "I love pony tails and braids you look amazing and it's a real turn on not that you care but I love it," one message read.

Murdoch, a former wrestler, co-hosted the streaming program Un-PC with McHenry.

McHenry's lawsuit says Murdoch also talked about having sex with her and threatened to send her pictures of his genitalia.

She says that after she complained to Fox execs, she was told she was "replaceable" and was asked what she had done to provoke him. She says that after she complained four times, she was "frozen out" by management and was no longer invited to appear on TV shows instead of streaming ones.

Murdoch, meanwhile, was promoted to host his own show, Nuff Said. "I am standing up for myself, for women and for what’s right," McHenry tweeted Tuesday.

"I have maintained the same allegations because the truth doesn’t change. I feel for any sexual harassment victim who has their story and evidence dismissed, doubted and not believed."
